European Neutron Scattering Association

The European Neutron Scattering Association (ENSA) represents the scientific community in Europe that uses neutron sources to explore the structure and dynamics of materials. It brings together national user groups to coordinate strategy, strengthen collaboration, and advocate for world‑class neutron research. ENSA works to ensure efficient use of existing facilities while supporting long‑term planning for future neutron sources. The association promotes training, innovation, and opportunities for young scientists across a broad range of disciplines. Through its initiatives and partnerships, ENSA helps secure a vibrant and sustainable future for neutron science in Europe.

QENS/WINS: online 2021 + San Sebastian 2022

Posted on November 12, 2020February 17, 2026 by ViceChair ViceChair

Dear Colleague,

First of all, we sincerely hope that you and all your close people are healthy and safe.

As you may remember, QENS/WINS2020 could not be held as planned, and was postponed to 17-21 May 2021. In view of the development of the pandemics, we have rescheduled the face-to-face conference again.

We are happy to announce that QENS/WINS WILL TAKE PLACE IN SAN SEBASTIAN, DURING THE DATES 23-27 MAY 2022.

In the meantime, to keep the interest, update/exchange science and technology in the QENS community, we will celebrate in addition an online short version of QENS/WINS during the dates initially planned for the rescheduled event: 17-21 May 2021.

You can find information about the two events at:

http://qens-wins2020.dipc.org

You are warmly invited to join us online in May 2021 and in person in May 2022!

Best regards,

Arantxa Arbe and Juan Colmenero
